GDPR

You've probably heard of the GDPR, but what does it mean for you as a customer? Here you can read about what the reform means for your customer relationship with VortexVR

What is GDPR?

The EU's new privacy reform, better known as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), is designed to improve your data security across the European borders of EU and EEA countries. Privacy is a priority at VortexVR, and this article provides you with information on how we work to comply with the new data protection law.

A safer e-commerce experience for you as a customer

The new regulation becomes part of law and is an extra assurance that your personal data is processed in a lawful way. There will be greater responsibility on VortexVR when processing and storing your customer data, while still allowing you to complete your online purchases in the same way as before. In other words, the GDPR is only a benefit to you as a VortexVR customer.

Consent for SMS and newsletters

Your current consent is still valid. What is new is that you can now choose whether you want offers and news via SMS and/or email and that the information about your consent and what it means is updated. Among other things, we are informing you about the type of information we use in our newsletters.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. To get an overview or to make changes to your consent, you can simply go to "My page". You can also unsubscribe in the newsletter/text message.

Data controller and third parties

The Managing Director of VortexVR bears ultimate responsibility for the company's processing of personal data. In order to offer a tailored shopping experience to you, VortexVR uses external partners, but your personal data will not be misused in any way or sold to third parties. Read more about our processing of personal data.

Privacy Policy

In connection with the GDPR, we have adapted and simplified our privacy policy. Here you can read in detail how we process your personal data and the types of information involved. The policy explains what customer information you leave behind when you make a purchase from VortexVR, and what information we store in our system.

Increased security for your customer data

The new directive requires VortexVR to have full visibility of the company's customer data and imposes security requirements around it. In the event of a data breach, which could have an impact on your personal data, VortexVR complies with the GDPR's information obligation rules.
