Now I've compared it to Meta's original cable. The only difference is perhaps that the Vortex is a little stiffer, but it's not so strange if it has to handle 100w as well. But no problem for that reason. Maybe a little heavier weight to hang on the mask. But if you need an extra battery and other things, this amounts to little. Has a Velcro fastener on the end so you can attach it along and further back of the stitch. Practical.
When it comes to power and charging, it's not the cable's problem. Because exactly the same thing happens with both cables. USB 3.2 Gen2 port, and it doesn't share any power with other devices on the same hub or anything. The power saving mode of the USB controller is turned off. Also took out the other usb devices to secure this completely. So this probably has to do with the charging source - adapter or port on computer equipment - how much power is consumed and how much is received, and which devices on the mask consume power (BT, WiFi, ++).
Now I have turned off bluetooth in the headset. Wifi is on, and full resolution and quality is on. The result is that the consumption is still greater than it can charge at the same time. But it is very little. 1% every now and then. Next is to turn off WiFi when I still have a link cable connected (when used for pc games). Then I reckon it consumes even less. Will test more, but then the results will probably come elsewhere if this review cannot be updated then.
So conclusion for this cable is excellent in my opinion. Totally worth the money. And the exciting thing will be to charge the laptop and things that require high power (watts) eventually.

Når det kommer til strøm og lading, så er det ikke kabelen sitt problem. For nøyaktig det samme skjer med begge kablene.
